The perl script "photo print" prepares JPEG-files for printig them on photopaper. It cuts off the sides of the picture, so that the picture matches the proportions of the photopaper and thus can be printed without white edges. In addition it rotates the picture to make sure it correspond in orientation to the photo paper. Finaly it executes a printing command. The script reqires the perl module Image::Magick to be installed.

I use this script together with the Quick Image Viewer, a Canon PIXMAX iP4200 printer and TurboPrint. I put the photo print script in QIV on the key "0": my qiv-command filei.
