I wrote a perl-script to build and install the ivtv-drivers, required for tv-cards such like Hauppauge PVR 150. Please take care: this script is an alpha release. I wrote it on my ubuntu linux and it works for me. Post any comments or error-messages here.

The followin packages are required:

• linux-headers-XXX: The headers of your running kernel.

• gcc, make: Tools required for building and compiling.

• module-init-toold: The commandline apps "modprobe" and "rmmod" are used to load the new module.

• wget, tar: To download and untar the sources.

You have to run the script as root. Take a look at the configuration variables at the top of the script before executing.
